Delete Your Account

Overview

This page explains how to permanently delete your Decryptr account and all associated personal data. You can do this yourself inside the app in seconds, or request deletion here if you no longer have access to the app.

1. Delete in the app (fastest)

If you can sign in to the Decryptr app, this is the quickest way and takes effect immediately:

  • Open the Decryptr app and sign in.
  • Go to Profile.
  • Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account and data are removed immediately and you are signed out. This action cannot be undone.

2. Request deletion by email / form

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, submit the form below (or email support@decryptr.ai from your account email address with the words "Delete my account"). We verify the request against your account email and permanently delete your account and data within 30 days (usually much sooner).

This permanently deletes your account and personal data and cannot be undone. Submit from — or reference — the email address on your account so we can verify the request.

3. What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

  • Your login/authentication record.
  • Your profile, subscription/tier status, and AI credit balance.
  • Your saved alerts and notification history.
  • Your registered device push tokens.
  • Any support requests linked to your account.

Watchlists, journal entries and other settings stored only on your device are removed when you delete the app or clear its data.

4. Things to note before deleting

  • Subscriptions: deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings to stop future charges.
  • Records we must keep: we may retain a limited amount of information where required by law (for example, transaction records for tax/accounting), held only as long as legally necessary.
  • Deletion is permanent — you will need to create a new account to use Decryptr again.
